Assessment OverviewSilvergate worked with Standard Tel Networks to identify a number of concerns regarding their efficiency and overall communication budget. Their three primary concerns were:
- Multiple locations with multiple systems and multiple vendors
- System management costs out of control
- Communications between branches was difficult, causing customer service issues.
Architected Solution
The solution implemented was a network of Mitel 3300 Communications Platforms including a centralized voicemail at the corporate office and failovers at individual branches. Silvergate was able to Achieve:
- Replacement of their disparate systems with resilient and redundant Mitel platforms, with a single vendor for service.
- Streamlined support and management costs, including a 5 year service contract.
- Extension dialing between offices and branches enables ease of call transfer and simpler customer interaction.

In addition to meeting all of Silvergate Bank’s business communication needs, Standard Tel Networks was able to provide a 50% reduction in annual support costs.
